Oirase Stream runs out from Lake Towada’s Nenokuchi point which was created when the lake’s rim burst out about 15,000 years ago. This coinsides with the beginning of the Jomon Period. Enjoy nature in the national park.

Canoeing on Lake Towada from the Utarube Camping Site. A lecture will be given to all participants before canoeing. There will be a break time for tea while on the water.

Visit the Choshi Otaki Waterfall and walk to Kudan-no-taki Waterfall for 15 minutes on the return trip in Oirase Gorge.
