Where we are:

Aomori Prefecture is located in the northern tip of Japan’s main island Honshu. The capital city is Aomori City. From Tokyo, you can fly either to Aomori Airport or Misawa Airport. Or, you can simply get on one of the fastest bullet train “Hayabusa” at Tokyo Station for Shin-Aomori Station. In three hours and a half, you will be in Aomori City!

Why we recommend you to travel to Aomori:

Aomori Prefecture is surrounded by oceans in three sides; the Pacific Ocean in the east, the Tsugaru Strait in the north, and the Sea of Japan in the west. In the south, there are mountains. Our land is rich in nature. We are blessed with sea food, fruits and vegetables. In late April, almost one month after Tokyo’s, cherry blossom trees here are usually in full bloom. In June, trees are all green in Oirase Gorge. In August, local people are so excited because Nebuta/Neputa festivals are held. In October, trees in mountains and parks change colors. And in November, the temperatures drop, and at the end of the month, the season’s first snow comes here and there. Which season you would like?
